Twelve quilts recounting the history of the Ahuntsic neighbourhood were erected along the sidewalks of La Promenade Fleury. G.H.I.P.T., a collective of architects, sought Atelier Gris’s expertise to give shape to their vision of the quilts. We designed the system used to incorporate hundreds of wooden cubes into steel structures, which had to be sturdy enough to ensure the pieces would stand up to the weather… and the test of time.
