With the aim of promoting active mobility, in 2018 the city of Québec launched a contest for the design and prototyping of customizable bike racks engraved with the name of the borough in which they’d be located.

As part of a design-build-style collaboration, Atelier Gris and PARA-SOL combined their expertise to develop a piece of robust and durable street furniture made of galvanized steel and solid ash wood.
